性质
无水硫酸铜为白色或灰白色粉末。溶液呈酸性，粉尘刺鼻性很强。溶于水及稀的乙醇中而不溶于无水乙醇。在潮湿空气中易潮解，吸湿性很强。在高温中形成黑色氧化铜。
分子式 CUSO4·5H2O，分子量 249.68，密度(通常状况下)2.284g/cm3，熔点(通常状况下)110℃，沸点(通常状况下)330℃
应用
1、硫酸铜是较重要的铜盐之一，在电镀、印染、颜料、农药等方面有广泛应用。无机农药波尔多液就是硫酸铜和石灰乳混合液，它是一种良好的杀菌剂，可用来防治多种作物的病害。
2、五水硫酸铜可由氧化铜与硫酸或铜与浓硫酸作用后，浓缩结晶而制得。在实验室中可用浓硫酸氧化金属铜来制取无水硫酸铜。
